Ornamental Grasses, one of my favorite types of plants to use in a design.  They are great for the senses.  They can provide great winter interest and may be left alone in the fall and not cut them back.  Variegated foliage grasses are ideal for specimen plantings or in small groups.  Medium sized grasses are great for mass plantings in the middle or back of the border.  Most large grasses require at least 8 hours of sunlight a day.
