How does technology and garden design relate?

How does technology and garden design relate? How do I bring this creative mind who loves plants and being outside to the desk to do some computer work?

I must admit that the process is addictive and I love messing around with Photoshop and creating Illustrator files. Now it is messing around with Dreamweaver to update my webpage that is the latest challenge. I must follow the instructions set out before me by John my website designer and I won't go astray.I hope!

All of my garden designs are hand drawn and I find that it is an effective way to communicate my ideas with some original style. The benefit to CAD is when you need to make any changes or build from your original template. All of my secondary drawing of planting plans etc. start again from scratch. Using Vectorworks means more time on the computer and the time seems to scream by. Once the software is mastered the process can then become quicker allowing the creativity to be expressed in the interpretive images and not just the drafting process. If only they didn't cancel that course I was registered on...
